Purpose

Magrathea is where we go looking for questions — and answers — in places most organisations haven’t even looked yet.

Think of it as an ecosystem foundry: a melting pot where new ideas, regional challenges, international expertise, and local capability collide to create something bigger than any single organisation could build alone.

Turn a shared ambition into work people can act on

Define the regional problem

Start with local priorities and the people affected. We help organisations frame a challenge, identify relevant capabilities and define a piece of work that education, industry and other stakeholders can discuss together.

Connect education, industry and international experience

Bring the right people into the conversation: universities, industry specialists, speakers and innovation or investment networks. We help shape workshops, challenges and collaboration pathways around a practical purpose.

Shape a programme or pilot pathway

Clarify responsibilities, the first steps and what a pilot needs to learn. Our approach supports student and early-stage teams and develops local capability. Each programme agrees its own scope; proposed activities become commitments only when the participants confirm them.

For challenges that need several organisations

Magrathea is for universities, businesses and regional organisations seeking a shared approach to innovation, talent development or a practical pilot. Project Cần Thơ 2030 is an independent TIC programme developed through Magrathea. It connects talent, technology and opportunity in the Mekong Delta and began in December 2025.
