February 2026 Update — The Improbability Company 🚀

Oz here — and yep… it’s February 2026 and we’ve been busy, busy.

Beyond continuing our company consolidation and sharpening our focus areas, we’ve made meaningful progress across the business, ventures, and forward planning. This update is a quick snapshot of where we are, what’s moving, and what’s next.

  • Stronger foundations: consolidation continues, with clearer priorities and tighter execution.
  • Tech Forge: steady growth + a major push into practical AI adoption for clients.
  • Melvin Lab / VoltaRocks: product acceleration with a target Vietnam release in September 2026, and ASEAN expansion planning underway.
  • Magrathea + Project 2030: now a key strategic priority, with active engagement across Vietnam and Australia.

Tech Forge — steady growth, now scaling AI capability

Tech Forge continues to grow steadily and hit milestones. The team is now focused on applying AI in current projects to deliver high-impact initiatives and guide clients through the AI shift — without losing control of what matters.

What we’re focused on right now

  • Helping clients understand how AI changes SaaS operations and product development
  • Building practical ways to maintain:
    • control
    • quality assurance
    • data security
  • Improving how we validate AI outputs so they’re reliable, governed, and usable, not just impressive demos

Why this matters

AI is moving fast. The winners won’t be the loudest — they’ll be the teams who can ship AI-enabled systems safely, consistently, and at scale.

Melvin Lab — VoltaRocks is accelerating (Vietnam → ASEAN)

Melvin Lab has advanced VoltaRocks significantly, with the goal of launching in Vietnam in September 2026, then expanding across ASEAN later in the year.

This phase introduces our Consumer Electrification Workspace:

  • An interactive AI-powered web experience
  • Home profiling + roadmap creation to support electrification journeys
  • Designed to guide users from:
    • plan optimisation
    • → to full electrification
    • without overwhelming them
  • Includes a concept we’re excited about: a dedicated “home agent advisor” that helps each household maintain momentum and keep improving over time

The big idea here

Electrification is not a one-click decision — it’s a journey. We’re building the product experience to make that journey feel guided, achievable, and rewarding.

Magrathea + Project 2030 — strategic priority (Vietnam + Australia)

Magrathea and Project 2030 are now a core strategic focus.

We’ve held meetings and strategy sessions with partners across:

  • private sector
  • universities
  • government agencies in both Vietnam and Australia, aligning our direction with:
  • Australia–Vietnam collaboration priorities
  • Can Tho 2030 priorities

This work is about positioning ourselves where long-term impact and long-term opportunity overlap — and building partnerships that can carry real weight.

Culture + momentum — gala night + Lunar New Year break

We’re excited for our gala night before the Lunar New Year break. It’s a chance to pause, celebrate progress, and reset for the next push.

While parts of the team keep things moving around the region, our ASEAN office will take a well-earned break to recharge — then come back ready to keep disrupting, collaborating, and building with our clients and partners.

The pace is real — but so is the progress. We’re building capability, momentum, and partnerships that compound over time.
